I just wanted to let you know what an amazing job you are doing with the karate. Madison loves going to class and I really like the obstacle courses and the good information you give the kids. So keep up the good work.

My daughter loves going to karate class every Monday and she has learned so much since day one. She was so uncoordinated when it came to obstacle courses and exercises, but she is learning day by day and doing so well. This school is phenomenal and David is outstanding with the kids. I would recommend this class to anyone.

David has done a great job teach our 2 boys Christian Martial Arts over the past 1 1/2 years. He incorporates a biblical overview into the program where students must demonstrate mastery of skills, compete community service and write Bible verses in order to advance. David has a genuine and caring interest for his students and maintains a healthy balance of encouragement, sound instruction, constructive feedback and consistent discipline.

We just want to let you know that we are very pleased with your program. We cannot ask for more. Timmy loves his instructors and has learned valuable lessons in focus, discipline, respect and confidence. Thank you for providing a fun place to learn and an environment where prayer at the start and end of the class is paramount.

Mr. Skelton is a great teacher, he understands our limits and helps us push past them like no coach I have had before. The art of Neshamat Elohim is a physically challenging, deep, and fun thing to learn. I have been in it for about a year and am at my purple belt, testing for blue this November and am still enjoying the class like the first time I came.

I decided to sign up for a self defense class because I go to and from the gym every night by myself. After a few comments from random people at the gym ("You are here early tonight", "You are here later tonight", etc.) I realized that my workout routine was putting me in a pretty vulnerable position. I am always alert and cautious, but I realized that if someone did attack me, it was likely that I wouldn't be able to defend myself.

After doing some research, I decided to sign up for the COBRA program instructed by David Skelton. The group that I participated with was 8-10 people and was instructed by David, with two assistants. The smaller class size allowed for a lot of one on one attention to make sure you were learning everything that was being taught. David was very to the point with valuable statistics and information that everyone should be aware of. The class was full of tips and ideas for every day occasions. He was careful to push awareness and not paranoia. I appreciated that it was a lot of defending yourself with what you have on hand. I always feel like people get a false sense of security by having a weapon but David stressed that you don't get to decide the time, location and place and may not have your weapon handy. Many of the self defense tactics go against your natural reaction and thought process. This really showed me that the things that I would have done prior to the class would have really made the situation worse.

You always hope that you will never need to defend yourself, but the peace of mind that I now have that I could defend myself if necessary was well worth the time and expense of the class. I discussed several of the things that I learned with my daughter, sisters and mom and am hopeful that we can all attend the next session together.
